Donation for Hope

If you are interested in adopting a Jack Russell Terrier through Russell Refuge, Inc., you must fill out an adoption application.

The adoption process is designed to match appropriate homes with appropriate dogs. While many dogs may be attractive to the eye, we are very careful to understand the lifestyle of each adopter since we clearly understand the individual dogs in our care.

Click to display Medical IssuesDear little 10 lb blind Hope. Found by the Yonkers shelter as a stray. Hope shows evidence of having many puppies in her estimated 6 yr old life. In typical Jack Russell fashion, she has kept her spirit and charm intact.
Lost 12/4/2014
Hope loves her walks and sniffs the air in pursuit of a possible squirrel or even better, a cat! Her most favorite pastime however is to be cuddled and loved. Hope is an exceptional little terrier that except for the look of her damaged eyes, one would not think of her as blind. She even picks up her paw when on leash she hears the word "step" and then politely steps up to the required level. She will also surprise you with a leap into your lap. Hope is being spayed this week and her eyes will be checked. Her wish is for a loving home where she won't have to spend much time alone. She is house trained and prefers to be an only pet. Put a little Hope in your heart.
Hope is blind.

Hope is located in Rhinebeck, NY
