Donation for Buddy IV
If you are interested in adopting a Jack Russell Terrier through Russell Refuge, Inc., you must fill out an adoption application.
The adoption process is designed to match appropriate homes with appropriate dogs. While many dogs may be attractive to the eye, we are very careful to understand the lifestyle of each adopter since we clearly understand the individual dogs in our care.

Buddy is a sweet, energetic little guy who loves people, other dogs, playing fetch with his beloved tennis ball and going for a walk. Older children are best for this special needs terrier who is mostly blind from cataracts. |
 |
Buddy was surrendered to the Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey, NH when his owner died two months ago. He's adjusted well though it wasn't easy for him at first. We would very much love for Buddy to have a forever home with a family who will shower him love and attention. And find it is both remarkable and a complete joy to watch him delight in the retrieval of his beloved tennis ball.
Please contact Nicole, the Adoption Coordinator at the Monadnock Humane Society in Swanzey, NH, at (603)352-9011, x101.
We think Buddy may have some sight left as he reacts to shadows but it's clear he relies heavily on sounds and smells. His blood work has revealed an elevated level of alkaline phosphatase which could mean any number of things. We will continue to monitor these levels while also looking at the possibility of surgery to remove the cataracts. |
