Hi, my name is Skippy.

Donation for Skippy

If you are interested in adopting a Jack Russell Terrier through Russell Refuge, Inc., you must fill out an adoption application.

The adoption process is designed to match appropriate homes with appropriate dogs. While many dogs may be attractive to the eye, we are very careful to understand the lifestyle of each adopter since we clearly understand the individual dogs in our care.

Skippy
Sex:Male
Age:3 years
Coat:Rough
Color:Brown/white
Available for Adoption
Not recommended to homes with young children Not recommended to homes with cats

Skippy can be protective of his owner and will take the dominant role if permitted. The right home for Skippy is a home that will allow him to be the JRT that he is, but help him understand that he does not have to take the leader role and just have fun.
Skippy loves to play catch with his ball and is great with other dogs, however, he does not get along with cats. Skippy would do best in an adult only home with JRT experience. Due to his protectiveness, Skippy cannot go to a home with children. Skippy is neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on vaccinations. He is housetrained.

Skippy is located in Rhinebeck, NY
